Got out for a hike today!
The three dogs and I went to Johnny Park, West of Longmont & Lyons
A nice ~5 mile hike

Here's where we stopped to turn around, looking East, toward Buttonrock

Sandy enjoyed the hike thoroughly

As did Porter

Tachikoma had fun, too, but missed her momma and was ready to head home

So here's the view through the back of my skull (mirror image, anyway). You can see my two fake teeth glowing brightly in this X-Ray. This image was taken as a safety precaution prior to my shoulder-pain-diagnostic MRI, as I noted that there was a slight chance I had a metal particle embedded in my eye. (I was pretty sure my contact lens saved me from the metal particle years ago, but I wouldn't want to find out the hard way, by having the large magnet pull a ferromagnetic particle out of my eyeball!)
Anyway, the MRI showed that I apparently have a "moderately" torn rotator cuff and a damaged labrum. I just got these results a few hourse ago, and am debating the urgency of surgery.... We shall see!

The TomTom Club
Here are Ramesh and Sam, our two boys. While Mesh is a big cat, I'm
afraid I played a cruel trick with perspective. He's not *that* fat!

Snapping Turtle
Here's a nice shot of Dregen ((don't ask about the name,) the resident
snapping turtle. He loves to haul out and bask in the sun, but he
won't do it while humans are watching. The only way I was able to get
this shot was that his eyes were closed!
That's Hyssop in the foreground.

I Love Doing Laundry!
One reason I love laundry is the challenge of pairing socks. Here are
eight beige socks with no mates!

My first LOLcat
This is one of our cats. He's very concerned about the state of our
economy, and hopes that no rich people will have to lose any money.

The Wraps Come Off!
Tuesday, AE had the last bits of metal extracted from her fibia and
ankle. We're hoping for a quick recovery and world peace.

First Post
I remember reading Robot Wisdom Weblog a decade or so ago.
That's right, before these were called "blogs."
And blog rhymes with "flog" and never fails to elicit other negative images when I hear it spoken aloud. And isn't it humourous (I likes me some English spellings) how often we hear about "blogs" and "bloggers" these days?
I'm not a blogger. In fact, this may be my last post, we'll see if I return...
